Updated the homepage hope you all like it :). We as mentioned before are getting closer to having our own server. When we get it we will be adding new maps which of course will be supplied to all members either directly from the website or via a link depending on their sizes. There should be a few new maps with a total of 16 with luck.

Well I was so pleased yesterday when we had a full server on out ICW 17 players was great. But it all went tits up when we decided to try the Clan Base team against the others. I didn't realise you guys would get so upset over it :(. Sorry it wasn't meant to cause harm or pis* you guys off that much that you were all posting hate mail to me :(. People keep moaning about playing against others who have cable, why there will always be people better off than others, this is life and its a cruel world at times. As clan master what do you want me to do ban all hpb and only let lpb in or the other way round. I have np at all with playing against all lpb and if you all get cable I would be happy for you. To keep moaning about it is getting on my nerves and the other members. There is no point in telling us that they killed you because of their ping, as what the heck are we supposed to do about it ?. We have no magic wand, I dread playing now with some of you as it is like a time bomb waiting to go off, one frag and the moaning starts. Face reality guys and get on with the game. In future no ICW will be against Clan Base players, ICW will be fun fun fun.
On the positive side we are hoping to have our own private server soon, so be patient this may solve the cheaters issue but not the ping issues.

Hektic has now officially rejoined the clan today :). Sorry not much news recently been busy working on Clan Base section, we are hoping to build on this part of the clan as several of our hard core members are thirsty for blood. The new section under "Clan Base" to the left will have more info. Termy is leading this section and will contribute all data as required with support from Hektic, and myself with the website stuff. I have added a few more piccies most of AWP whore Mauser taking out team members :).

Bad news lads Hektic has left us, our thanks to him for his help in the past and for being a good steady member. I know a few of you are away on holiday soaking up this nice hot weather :). Should get my Hard Drive back tomorrow, so they say :), how many times have we heard that :). All I need to do then is reinstall everything :(.
Wow I have just tried playing Realbot (Under Downloads) it is great you can play against as many T or CT's as you like and with other players, it get hard 7 on 1 even with an AWP, They use all weapons and are pretty damn good. Try it lads its a good laugh when you got connection problems.

Well lads here it is :), it took along time but we got there at last. Great result and well done to all who took part. We had slight problems with two times zones as we worked off out local time where the others worked of their local time hence 1 hours difference, never mind :). Click on picture below for full image.

Sorry there has been no news but my Hard Drive died on me last Friday so not software or CS for nearly a week, anyway here we go.
Our best friend Shredder has moved on to pastures new, and for the foreseeable future he will no longer be playing CS :(, as such he has decided to leave the Clan Board but remains a member and his TAG is in tact :). We all wish him the best of luck with his pursuits and hope his little lad Michael grows up as good as his dad. Cheers Shredder you are 1 in a million.
I have some more pictures to upload which will be done this weekend, and the Tactics page has been added to thanks to Baker & Hektic for their input. Termy has arranged some Clan Wars and according to our message board another clan has arranged a match for this weekend, again Termy can try and sort this out. Darky has changed name to GeGGo and I have altered where I can all names which need updating. Made new entry to Clan Policy, please read Chunky's new role and support him with this. Removed password login to Tactics page and added link from "Members" section login saves you guys getting it wrong :).

Check out new Real Bot on downloads Termy found this, with this you can play against bots on all CS maps so get some practice in lol. We have asked UKT if we can book their locked server for practice sessions etc. at the moment they cannot but this might change.

Big thanks to Termy for handling the news section in my absence. It looks like 2d2p are making a come back which is great news, good old Hoops is now recruiting from the whole world so and new 2d2p's you spot say hello from Clan MTS. Cobra needs some help in adding some prefix to his name, keep it clean on any suggestions, place them on the message board. Clan war tonight for us guys who can make it, I will do my best to be there this is a new server which has been found by you guys lets give it a go. Duckers is dead still and Nasty has gone AWOL on us I have tried many times with emails and ICQ messages just to get a response from him and so has Termy but to no avail I wish he would just say he doesn't want to play with us anymore least we would know where we stand. If anyone happens to see him on please do your best to make contact with him ask him to email me.

Hi chaps just to inform you that it looks as if Half-life is going to be upgraded twice very shortly 1.1.0.7 some bug fixes and 1.1.0.8 which has the multicast spectator viewer also this update will contain some kind of RWilco by the sounds of it. So if you go on and get the old wrong version error when connecting go look to see if the version has changed.

Anyhow last nights CWar didn't go to well, see the Cwar's section for the results and stats "OUCH" if you really must. This I think re-iterates the need for a bit of tactical training and team alliance this is what caught us out I am sure.
On another note Duckers (both servers) seems to be down for whatever reason and Nasty has disappeared I hope he is ok.

New Clan War policy added, this is very important for those it effects. However I have not yet received all replies to the new player status chart which we need to organise matches with this policy. Any members who do not reply within the next 7 days will be deemed to be not interested in playing clan matches and such will not be invited to do so. It is hoped that working from this new policy will have a major effect on improving our clan match performance.

Pleased to welcome Rubadub as a special new member, he has joined us even though our books are officially closed. He was invited to join by one of the members and the board voted to except his application based on he is well known to several of our senior members for many years, and as such they have vouched for his good character. Clanhost 1 & 2 are now dead, please remove from your favorites. The two great servers which Nasty has got for us are at the following IP addresses
212.62.228.131:27015 & 212.62.228.131:27016, please remember these servers are in Norway and as such the pings will not be as low as on a UK one. One server will be public and one private, passwords will be given when available.

As you all know by now Clanhost is due to close shop forever, we will all miss her, we at Clan MTS say a found farewell to our favorite two servers, they have brought us all together and without these and the earlier Sunspire's we would probably not have our wonderful clan. Many thanks to MP for all his help and support both on and off the servers, he is a good friend to many of us. Maybe one day he will join our ranks, I have offered him membership if he so desires and we await his response. If you read this MP we wish you all the best in the future and please stay in touch.

Don't laugh guys but Termy is having his cable installed tomorrow, but snigger snigger they have forgot to order the modem, when you see him online please don't mention it as I know you guys are trustworthy lol. The recent problems with NTL seem to have disappeared, we have a patch just in case which worked, thanks to Legs & Rubadub for their help. Termy is upset that he sent out 21 emails to you all regarding the new Clan Base league and has only had 7 replies, please say one way or another and don't leave the poor guy hanging on.

A great internal clan war took place on Duckers last night, which was enjoyed by all. We got 13 players on out of a possible 16 which was very good, see group picture under "Pictures". This seems to be a very popular item, so we will make it a regular event in between Clan Matches, I must confess I like the informal meetings with you guys rather than the formal ones. Termy will provide stats for those who were there as soon as his shifts finish. Any good pictures from clan war please send them in. Punk Buster seemed to work OK, all my cheats got by (Joke) ha ha. We had a great night on Duckers last night even though the pings were up by about 100, this was running Punk Buster as well. This arose from myself and Solid having no where to go as our favorites spots CH1 & CH2 were either full or running a clan war, from this it escalated and we had 9 members shooting it out till midnight and beyond "Yawn". If any of you guys find no room at the inn, head out to duckers and we will follow. Termy is still working on new members rating system which sounds easy but is turning out to be difficult. We will probably end up with 3 categories of players Infantry, Para's and Marines. Each member will be asked to put himself into a suitable class depending on his ability. Lets see how it goes and nothing is cast in stone. D.O.A mentioned earlier in the week something and then said "Its your clan" to me, please guys its our clan without you guys its nothing but a web page full of out of date facts. We all need each other to be a clan and to look after and support one another.

Good news for *DEAD*, he is getting cable next month which will make his game play a lot more enjoyable at present he is getting a ping of between 300 & 400, which must be horrible to use. Had a conversation with him last night with Roger Wilco which was great, to put a voice to a player. Anyone wishing to try RW get it from our downloads section, it is not to complicated but you must have a mic which will plug into your soundcard and of course some speakers to listen. Clan War tonight against the Codo guys, remember this is on the Duckers server, you have all been sent the ip address of the server via email. I shall be doing the admin, I am going to try it out shortly to see if the rcon password is OK. All being well it will work fine, however I am not sure what maps are loaded. I have finally managed to register our clan tag [MTS] we can then apply a Punk Buster password to our clan tag preventing others from using our name format.

Changed some of the pictures today. Please can all concerned show Termy some courtesy and reply to his email for the clan wars, as it stands we don't know if we have a full team or not for this Sundays match against the Codo boys. It is a simple task which seems to be getting worse, any members who have not replied to my earlier email will no longer be informed via email of any news, changes etc. I am not wasting my time sending emails to people who cannot be bothered to reply. On a brighter subject we are looking at getting an internal ladder set-up for stats this way we can see who the "experts" are Termy is looking in to this please any ideas you have let him know. I have suggested single weapon matches, shotgun 1 round then maybe pistols another, just a thought. Added De_Dawn back again to downloads, get it now before it goes again. It will be the job of this board to discuss clan policy, new membership and any other important clan information. Any new members wishing to join will have to be approved by the board. The board was formed as to give better control over the clans inner workings, as it stands it is down to one individual to decide clan policy membership and basically where the clan is going. This is not acceptable, and as such the board will now enable a wider view to be taken on clan matters. Please support all board members in their new roles.

New recruit Boz joins us today, he is a good friend if Solid's and has know him since he was knee high to a UMP45. He didn't want to join straight away because he had not played for some time and wasn't very good Hey what we all doing here then lol. Nasty has his own server which should be useful for any practicing or overseas matches we may have. I connected last night with Punk Buster and with my £20 modem got a ping of 210 which isn't that bad. You must have Punk Buster running to access this site. Get it from our downloads section. Thanks Nasty for thinking of us it is appreciated by all. Added De_Dawn zip file this is a new map used on Nasty server (Duckers) if you wanna play on here you will need this map get it from our downloads page, and remember you will need Punk Buster running.

Guess what happened today ?. You got it another member Whelk, most of you know him by now, he usually only plays during weekends due to his work. There was some confusion tonight about the practice session on CH2, most of this was due to timing it was only very recently that we had the go ahead from MP to use this server for out practice sessions, it was going to be on Tuesdays & Thursday, but it was changed to Wednesday instead. Please be patient we will get there and more important don't go telling other non clan members to get of any server, that is MP's job not ours.

Due to the above increasing numbers both myself and Termy decided to introduce a updated Clan Policy please read carefully for details, this is aimed to keep the clan organized, and it is not intended to offend anyone. As our numbers are getting close to 20 we thought it would be wise not to let things get out of hand, a good example was the planning of practice sessions on CH2, this is a great idea, but we must respect MP and as such it is better for one person to have contact with him to arrange dates etc rather than 6 people all asking for all different times. This we thought would cause the guy to go mad. If anyone has any comments on the clan policy please let me know and we can discuss it further. Had to remove some of the old piccies from section due to lack of web space.

Sundays Clan War took place against [2d2p] which was very enjoyable, even though we lost 42 - 2, I was very proud to be there along side my team members as we struggled on against some great players. First half as terrorist went poorly for reasons unknown, maybe it was the stress of the match or just nerves, we did better in the second half and got a few more kills I think. All in all we did well against [2d2p] and had a good clean game. From this we are hoping to arrange some training sessions on CH2. From this team we can only improve and always remember its a game and we at MTS are cool, we play straight and fair and I cannot ask anymore of you guys, well done.
Former [TWAT] Dark Angel joins the ranks of MTS, he is now called Darky you all know him by now so stay cool and lets forget any past and look forward to the future..

Setting up new "Need Help" link, this was suggested by Chunky, the idea being to set-up a list of questions and answers to problems with using and configuring Counterstrike. This will take to build as I shall need input from you guys on what content to include. I was also going to put PC help on here as well, there is a form submission which can be filled in by members needing help if they cannot see the answer they require. If it gets to big I can add a suitable search engine to the page. Changed the "Quick Find" button from flag to bullet to save space. Clan war this Sunday against 2d2p, by now all players should now who is playing and the time slot allocated on ClanHost2. MP has kindly offered to admin the game. Good hunting to all involved. There is some concern over the number of new members joining our clan, my personnel view is that this is not a problem, as all who join are known to some if not all of us. It has been mentioned that people cannot get on servers due to other clan players being there, again these people would be there anyway even if they were not with our clan.
If you have reason why a certain player should not be allowed to join our clan, please contact me and I will arrange a vote based on the whole teams input, this is the only fair way.

Sorry guys for not updating the news for a day or so, anyway MP is looking at putting Punk Buster on his two servers to prevent any unscrupulous players from trying to cheat. This is a small program which is loaded prior to CS which detects if people have added any cheat codes like "speed" "aimbot" "radar" etc. All I can say lets give it a go, MP is the sort of guy who would remove it, if it causes any problems with our connection speeds etc. This way we would know there are no cheats present. As I have mentioned in the message board I know none of our team or regular players would stoop so low, but do get unknown persons joining from time to time. Termy has now acquired a very nice 21" Hitachi monitor which we spent most of yesterday fetching from Stockport and installing into his PC desk. But he is worth it he can now see us all die in large mode.
On the subject of PC's do you want me to put a listing of what each players PC spec is so we can compare specs and thoughts on what bits are good and which are bad ?. Again please let me know if you want anything adding to the web site, please ask I don't mind spending time working on new pages or layouts as long as you guys are happy. PSS added "Quick Find" to homepage click on Union Jack to find team members, might remove the "Find Us" link as this is easier.

Got Shredders excellent theme tune on the web page, you may have to down load it first prior to listening, this will depend on how your Real Player is set-up. If you need it click on the Real Player icon for a link to the download. I think ours is the only Clan out there with its own theme tune, again many thanks to Shredder for taking the time and effort for us.

Bad news guys Sunspire is confirmed dead, a big thanks to MP who has provided us with a great server over the last few months. MP might be back in the not to distant future with a new website, watch this space. We are now going to use the other favorites like Madasafish and Daily Radar for the time being, if anyone has a nice quite server which has a good connection speed and would suit us all please let us know. Ballot results out today showing a massive swing towards keeping Termy, earlier on it was looking like a land slide against him. All the canvassing has paid off Termy, nice one m8. Thursday's news, a little birdie dropped a very appreciated e-mail to us regarding Termy's (myself that is) future clan status. A few excerpts "I would like to personally thank Clan Master Mauser for both the vision and leadership he has shown in these most difficult times", "with Termy's gaming experience along with Mausers strong leadership and directional skills I feel the clan can only go from strength to strength". These are strong and well intended comments which we all agree that at least Clan Master Mauser has led us to pastures anew which will strengthen the clan status.
